Matt Waters is…a singer songwriter from Cincinnati, OH who started his musical journey at nine when he got his first guitar. By age fourteen, Waters was gigging in his hometown as well as sitting in with bands any chance he got.When he was sixteen he cut his first EP of original music and continued to refine his craft as a songwriter. In his early twenties, he had already began independently touring throughout the country.He began earning his marks in acclaimed venues such as the Cleveland House of Blues, the Bluebird Cafe in Nashville, and Cincinnati’s Paul Brown Stadium. Waters worked tirelessly as a writer and performer, and found himself opening for national acts like Tim Reynolds, Judy Collins, Judah and the Lion, and AJR.Today, he is producing his first full length record alongside producer Greg Yock and Matt’s band “The Recipe”. He is venturing off on his longest tour to date in the fall of 2019 to promote his album “Few Words”.
