Her emotions are raw and her visions are hard living\, hard luck and hard to handle… She is a fluid and intense vocalist…her messages about love\, rage despair\, homelessness and overcoming are delivered with style\, phrasing and soul.” \n-Dr. Blues\n“Amanda Fish Band got the Blues in their grooves”\n-“On The Radar”\, The Alternate Root\n\n\nAmanda Fish began as a singer songwriter in late 2012\, refining her original material as a solo act for 2 years before she formed her band in early 2014\, a Roots Rock and Soul quintet featuring dual slide and rock guitars and Amanda’s signature ‘from-the-gut’ vocals locked into a sturdy groove.\nIn 2015\, she released her first LP\, “Down In The Dirt”\, on VizzTone Label Group\, for which she was awarded the 2016 “Sean Costello Rising Star” Blues Blast Music Award. Amanda and her band set Beale Street on fire in the 2017 International Blues Challenge Semi Finals. \nIn 2018\, Amanda has released her sophomore album\, “Free”\, which hit #6 on the Billboard Blues Album Chart. She’s touring with her band to support the CD.
